Transflo and EFS Offer Combined Payment and Electronic Logging Solutions

Pilot and Flying J Travel Centers serve as fulfillment centers for EFS members using mobile-based digital coupons to pick up Transflo ELDs
TAMPA, Fla., September 21, 2017 – Transflo by Pegasus TransTech, a leading provider of enterprise mobility, telematics, and business process automation for the transportation industry, today unveiled a new telematics and payment partnership with EFS – a WEX Company and leader in fleet payment solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, EFS adds Transflo Telematics to its portfolio of data, payment, and compliance solutions for the transportation industry. EFS clients seeking electronic logging device (ELD) technology to comply with the government’s December deadline will be referred to Transflo for standard E-Log services or full fleet telematics capabilities.
In an industry first, EFS clients who purchase a Transflo ELD can choose to conveniently pick up the device at participating Pilot and Flying J Travel Centers across the United States. When they do, they receive a single-use, digital coupon on their mobile phone that allows them to redeem the coupon for an ELD product at the check-out counter in stores. The customer can then register the unit through the Transflo mobile app and plug it in to the truck to finish the installation and activation.

The Transflo ELD partnership complements the EFS portfolio of compliance and reporting solutions. Clients will also have the ability to pay for monthly ELD subscription services using their existing EFS fleet cards. The relationship provides added convenience for companies who choose to use Transflo and EFS – two strong transportation technology brands – solutions together.
