Transflo Telematics solution features new certified integration with McLeod Software transportation management system
TAMPA, Fla., September 15, 2017 –Transflo, a leader in enterprise mobility, telematics, and business process automation for the transportation industry, today announced that Greenbush Logistics, Inc. has been deployed on the full enterprise mobile and telematics suite offered by Transflo. Greenbush is an affiliate of Great Southern Wood Preserving, Incorporated the largest distributor of pressure-treated pine in the nation through its highly-recognized YellaWood® brand.
Greenbush uses Transflo Mobile and Transflo Telematics together, enabling its commercial drivers to manage their entire workday from one mobile application. The vehicle operators manage pick-up and delivery communications and documents together with electronic logs through the company’s next-generation (NextGen) telematics solution – helping Greenbush continue to lead in the time- and service-sensitive freight management industry.
“We’re digitizing and simplifying aspects of our supply chain, and this initiative is an essential piece of that,” shared Travis Williams, Director of Operations of Greenbush. “When we compare these new business processes with those of just five years ago, it’s a satisfying transformation. The Transflo team understands our business, and their solutions helped us achieve our objectives.”
As part of its enterprise mobile initiative, Greenbush is also taking advantage of a new Transflo Telematics transportation management system (TMS) integration with McLeod Software. The process allows Greenbush to oversee fleet efficiency, safety, and compliance through one set of workflow rules across different vendors.
“What Greenbush has achieved is the full circle of mobility and information management,” stated Mark Spicer, Vice President of Integrated Solutions at Transflo. “The entire workflow gets digitized so that logistics companies can focus less on the workflow itself and more on service. Paper documents and time logs are replaced with digital images and electronic logs then integrated into the client’s unique business process.”
The enterprise mobility and NextGen telematics solutions, together with the certified McLeod TMS integration, will be featured in the Transflo booth (Booth #1012) at the McLeod Software User Conference from September 17-19 in Atlanta, Georgia.
