Enablers of Cloud Computing and Enterprise Mobility
Beginning in 2010, we set out to redefine transportation software. And boy, did we get busy. We developed new software-as-a-service (SaaS), mobile, business process automation, and document classification and indexing solutions. And today, Transflo Mobile is the most widely-used enterprise mobility and workday management solution in trucking.
In 2014, we acquired TripPak Services from Xerox. The acquisition added new clients and new assets, and we can now help clients excel with the most comprehensive solutions and the best technology. And in 2016, we added telematics and other integrated apps into our mobile platform. It’s been an exhilarating journey. Pioneers in Digital Document Management
The broader Transflo portfolio began to emerge in 2004. Our team took on the challenge of expanding beyond truck stops and making document scanning accessible to drivers everywhere. How did we do it? We brought the award-winning technology behind our truck stop scanning to the cab of the truck, terminals, home, office, and more.
Helping clients go digital, we reinvented carrier workflows and expedited invoice processing between carriers and brokers. Transflo Invoicing was introduced and provided an easy way to transmit invoices and load documents from carriers straight to brokers. Drivers now had the freedom to scan anywhere at any time, and fleets and brokers now had a total document management solution.
Early Developers of Scanning and Imaging
The Transflo story dates back to 1991 when we were founded as the document imaging systems division of Pegasus Imaging. Later, the document imaging division split off from Pegasus Imaging and became Pegasus TransTech, a provider of imaging solutions to the transportation industry.
Pegasus TransTech expanded quickly and added Pilot Flying J as a strategic channel partner in 2001. The following year, we launched Transflo Express, which is still the #1 truck stop scanning and on-demand document solution in the market today. We partnered with Love’s Travel Centers shortly after that and continued to grow both the product and the network.
